'I love the ocean, its creatures, sailing of all kinds – and adventure. I’ve been fortunate to reach the top in the demanding sport of kitesurfing. Now that I have retired from professional competition I am putting my energy into the Island Odyssey, using the skills and contacts I have gained through a decade of immersion in this sport. My aim is to inspire more women to push women’s kiteboarding and their own limits'.
