The Cook Islands is the centre of the Polynesian Triangle on the Eastern side of the International dateline. Rarotonga is the capital of the Cook Islands. It lies in the Tropic of Capricorn with 15 islands scattered over 2 million square kilometres.

Visa requirements: Please check with your travel agent regarding visa requirements. As we are aware nobody needs a visa to enter the Cook Islands.
Aitutaki is an hour flight north of the main Island Rarotonga. Flights depart daily to Aitutaki. Sunday flights have just started and are being trialed for 2 months beginning in July so will have to wait and see it they are still flying Sundays in October. Air Rarotonga is the carrier for this domestic flight.
You will be required to be in Rarotonga by the 17th September by 5pm to
enable you to make your domestic flight to Aitutaki in time for the start of
the event. Leaving Rarotonga book your international flight to leave later
than 3pm on the 24th.
Girls from NZ and Australia will gain a day upon arriving in the Cooks and lose a day heading home. Please ensure your landing dates coincide with the dates of the start of the event.
September is the dry season with the temperature ranging from 22 – 28 degrees Celsius. Water temp is a warm 26 degrees Celsius.
